Brotherly Love

The love between brothers never ceases to amaze me. I always hoped Justin and Karson would be close, but I never imagined they would be this close. Their love for each other is so obvious. It's just fun watching them together.
Get him Karson!
Unfortunately, Karson has inherited my dry, red skin. His poor cheeks are almost raw most of the time. We found some awesome stuff called Baby Aquaphor that seems to help, but he usually manages to rub it off before it can really fix the problem. Oh well, he still looks adorable.
Karson has recently gotten to lose the baby bath sling, and get right down in the water. As you can see, he couldn't be happier. He loves to splash and play in the tub, especially if Justin is in there with him.
Karson all wrapped up in his hooded fireman towel. Doesn't he look all cuddly and warm? Such a happy baby!

Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We were lucky enough to take a week of vacation from work, and spend it in Iowa with my family. We spent a weekend with Uncle Corey, Aunt Nicole & Owen in Eldora. Then we headed to Waukon, where we stayed until Christmas Day. We had great time, and spent a lot of quality time with family, which is my favorite way to spend time.
Justin had his first church Christmas pageant a couple of weeks before Christmas. Nana Cathy, Papa Rick, Grandma Larson, and Grandma Nona came to Sterling to see it. His class sang Away In A Manger, which Justin had a lot of fun learning.
Justin is at the fun age where he just loves Santa Claus. He isn't scared of him any more, and he gets so excited just talking about him. Santa Claus actually comes to Nana Cathy & Papa Rick's house every year the weekend after Thanksgiving. This year, Justin's wish list included a Wii, games for his Nintendo DS, and a watch. He was a very good boy this year, so he was lucky enough to everything on his list.
Karson loved Santa Claus too. His wish list wasn't too extensive this year. All he really needed was diapers and clothes. Everyone was very generous, so his closet is full of adorable clothes.
Santa Claus, Karson & Justin. Merry Christmas!!!
